Opinion: The new rules of employee engagement

It seems we’ve been trying to measure the culture of teams and organisations for the longest time. In fact, the surveys we all know well – engagement surveys – are from 1994 and they’re an odd set of questions which were originally correlated to ‘productivity’. Productivity is a business measure of how much work we can do, or how much revenue we can make, with as few people as possible.
